Dr Neil Macaskill is a Consultant Thoracic Radiologist based at the Ulster Hospital with a specialist interest in lung cancer imaging, biopsy, screening and early detection. He currently reports lung cancer screening studies for the NHS England Targeted Lung Health Check programme and advocates for the establishment of an integrated lung cancer screening programme in Northern Ireland, with a focus on high quality radiology service planning and implementation.
